Nurturing strong bodies, calm minds, and kind hearts through yoga and mindful play.
Anthos comes from Ancient Greek, meaning to blossom or flower.
Children are the future. Why not provide them with the resources to build a brighter path? At Anthos, we strive to help youth in our community flourish and develop compassion, connection, and resilience. We take a whole-child approach, addressing every aspect of wellness. Through mindful play, interactive activities and games, breathwork and yoga, we create a space where children feel supported, connected and confident in their bodies and minds.
Meet Our Founder - Rylee
Rylee has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training and after certification traning in children’s yoga. Rylee has been involved in emotional well-being and mindfulness activities for over 10 years, with experience both leading and participating. After discovering the powerful tool that mindfulness and self-awareness truly are, Rylee has devoted herself to sharing these skills with the world and ensuring children have the resources to flourish. Rylee’s journey to yoga began not too long after a car accident, which brought out difficulties breathing and constant shortness of breath. Through yoga and pairing breath to movement, yoga was the missing piece that rebooted her mind-body connection. Rylee is also a psychology student at the University of Lethbridge. When not teaching yoga or studying, Rylee enjoys the mountains, doggie cuddles and reading. Rylee comes from a big family with 4 brothers and way too much chaos!
